We learned this week that from the beginning of time, family has been hard. Sin causes dysfunction and problems.  Cain became so angry with his brother, he murdered him. The children understood that murder is a sin. It was a bit harder to understand that pushing or hitting , even for a cause, are sins. Our Sunday School year will kick off on September 14, beginning at 9:15 AM. School-aged children through 5th grade are invited to join us. Come and grow in your faith through Bible stories, music, and of course, lots of fun! SCHOOL In coordination with the New London School District, Emanuel Lutheran School will be CLOSING EARLY AT 1:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5. AFTERNOON PRE-K IS CANCELLED. Buses will pick students up at 1:00 and run normal routes. TIGER CUB CARE WILL REMAIN OPEN. If your care needs have to be changed or added, the drop-in fee will be waived; regular hourly rates still apply. Limited spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We are gathering for an evening devotion, songs, prayers, and a small evening snack. Please join us on February 26 in the evening from 6:00-6:30 pm in the church at Emanuel Lutheran in your pajamas! Mrs. D will wear hers, too! This will be a time to slow down, unwind, and be wrapped in Jesus before bedtime. We pray that all can join us!
