Our goal is to continue to surround your children with Jesus even when they are not in school!   Every two weeks please fill out the sign-up with the care needed. If you know further into the year, the sign-ups are available to fill out as you are able.  You can also make payments in Fast Direct.  Please be sure your account is current, and then it is time to sign up!  The current sign(#4) up will close on Thursday, 9/29, at midnight. This year Emanuel partnered with Healthy Smiles LLC through their Seal-A-Smile program. The program spent two very busy days at Emanuel this month and we are excited to share all they accomplished! They were able to provide dental care to 59 students and placed 151 sealants. The work from the staff at Healthy Smiles will prevent thousands of $$$ in dental care! Everything went very smoothly and we are excited to welcome Ms. Aimee and Ms. Carolann back in January for their second visit of the school year.   

Join us for an afternoon of FUN!  When: October 9th from 1-3 PM Where: Emanuel Gym What: GAMES, PRIZES, FRIENDS, and TASTY TREATS! Join us for opening devotion led by Pastor Heiges, 22 crazy games in the gym with tickets awarded that may be redeemed for prizes, and caramel apple snacks served in the Commons by Ladies' Evening Circle. Admission is one non-perishable item per person, to help the Good Samaritan program.

Join us for an all-you-can-eat pancake & sausage meal and Copper Rock coffee! Do you have any extra carving pumpkins? Emanuel's 6th-grade classroom is in search of pumpkins for an October activity. If you have an abundance of carving pumpkins this year, please consider donating them. Emanuel is in search of about 25 pumpkins. Adam and Eve lived in the perfect Garden of Eden.  They were surrounded by the glorious creation of God.  Then the devil in the form of a snake tempted them to disobey...and they did.  They felt scared, ashamed, sad, and lonely for the first time.  God had consequences for their sins - work became hard, labor would be painful.  God also had consequences for the devil.  The Son of God would defeat him.  That is the greatest promise we could ever hear!  God loved us so much that he would not let us die forever.  He saved us from our sins by defeating

Emanuel is excited to partner with Seal-A-Smile to offer a FREE preventative dental sealant program for students! The program includes an assessment to determine if sealants can be done, place sealants when appropriate, and fluoride treatments. The sign-up for this program was during registration, but if you are still interested in signing up, please contact the School Office right away.  If you did sign your child up to receive services from Seal-A-Smile, they will have their first visit next week. Seal-A-Smile will be at Emanuel from September 12th through the 14th. They will return again towards the end of the school year.  If you have any questions about Seal-A-Smile or if you are unsure if your child is signed up, please contact the School Office. 

Join us for a "Wacky Carnival" on Sunday, October 9th from 1-3 PM. Our gym will be set up with all kinds of crazy games. Tickets will be awarded for prizes. All ages are invited. Admission is one non-perishable item per person.  Volunteers are needed. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please sign up in the office. The "Wacky Carnival" is hosted by Emanuel's Board of Family Ministry. 

Project Backpack has a mission "to eliminate hunger in area schools one student at a time".  A weekend food/snack bag is provided to students in need who sign up with Project Backpack. The feed is to help eliminate hunger on the weekends when access to food might be strained.   If you feel this program would benefit your family financially , please stop in at the school office to fill out a Project Backpack-NL form or contact the school office to request a form be sent home with your child. Please submit all forms no later than September 16th to receive the first bag.  For questions or to request a form, please call (920) 982-5444 or email  school@emanuelnl.org .
