Have you ever thought about what your child may be up to on their phone or tablet while you're away? Do you have complete access to all of your child's text messages, browser history, and social media accounts on your home devices? While staying connected can certainly have its benefits, it can also be a significant cause of concern. During our recent teacher's conference, I came across a resource that I'd like to share with all our Emanuel parents. Perhaps some of you are interested in keeping a watchful eye on the content your children view, read, and watch on their devices at home. The tool is called "Bark," and it's a parental control app specifically designed for families. Please note that I have no personal experience with this app, nor am I affiliated with the company in any way. I'm simply passing along this information in the hopes that it may prove useful. Fox Valley Lutheran has spring and summer activities open to children of all ages! Below are just a few of the options available. SPRING CHEER CAMP April 1 SPRING CHEER CAMP April 1 FVL's cheer camp has moved to the spring! This camp is open to all girls in grades 5K-8 and will be held on   Saturday, April 1 . The cost is $35 per participant, which includes instruction and a custom hair bow. Register by March 21 to guarantee your child a bow and avoid a $5 late fee. Questions? Camp Bird for Lutherans is a youth camp for children currently in grades 5-8 (entering grades 6-9 in the fall). It is located near Crivitz in Marinette County on Sand Lake. The price for each child is $175 per week. Swimming, canoeing, boating, hiking, challenge course, kickball, volleyball, archery, arts & crafts, campfires, Bible study, games, camp songs and many other activities are waiting for you this year! Three weeks are available in July: *Sunday July 2 – Friday, July 7 *Sunday July 9 – Friday, July 14 *Sunday July 16 – Friday, July 21 For more information or to download the registration form, please visit  www.campbird.org .
