  • "I will make you fishers of men, fishers of men!"  This week we sang of the great miracle Jesus did again!  He showed his power in a great catch of fish.  He showed his disciples and us that he can do anything, anywhere regardless of what was thought to be the best practice.  Fisherman of Jesus' day fished when it was twilight or dark and in the shallow waters.  Jesus took them out during the day to the deep water after catching nothing all night.  Then his power was on display, more fish than their boats could hold!!  Peter recognized at that moment that Jesus is GOD.  Jesus took that realization to remind Peter, they would all be fishing for men, to catch them for heaven!  May we work for Jesus, catching people for heaven!
  • Spirit week is here!  This is a fun week of dressing up, playing fun games, and having a pep rally, all to support our A-team basketball teams!  This week we also have a penny war raising money for our mission - .  Each classroom is working to raise the most money, dress up the most, and receive the most points to be Spirit Champs!  3P & 4K currently hold the trophy, so let's keep it in our room!  Start saving your pennies or talk to the grandparents...they always seem eager to help with pennies!  Then dress up for Spirit week!

    • Tuesday - Class Color Day - We are Camouflage! 
    • Wednesday - Crazy Day
    • Thursday - Proud to be an American Day
    • Friday - Black and Gold Day - Pep Rally at 2:00p!
  • We are looking ahead to a celebration of love...showing Jesus' love!  We will celebrate Valentine's Day in our classroom on February 13 & 14.  Children are invited to share the love of Jesus with their friends by bringing a special Valentine for each friend.  Please only place your child's name in the "from" spot so that it is possible for each child to hand out their own.  If we place our friends' names on the cards, we can't read them to hand them out!  These two days we will also invite special treats of all kinds, healthy and super fun!  Any questions, please reach out!
  • Come and see what all the talk is about!  You can still attend this great series!
  • Join us each Sunday morning from 9:10-10:20am in room 207(upstairs of the school) for a parent's discussion about strategies for practical and proven tools for raising respectful, responsible, and capable children.  Childcare is provided.  We will cover:
    • Feb 12 - Setting Limits Without Waging War
    • Feb 19 - Avoiding Power Struggles
    • Feb 26 - Guiding Kids to Own and Solve Their Problems
    • Mar 05 - Teaching Kids to Complete Chores...Without Reminders
  • We pray that many of you will be able to join us to gain some new tools to help raise capable children for Jesus!  There are no fees or registration needed.  Just come!
  • Please send warm snow clothes EVERY DAY!!  Even when there isn't snow, we use them to stay warm!
