  • Think about not being able to walk...That must have been such a huge challenge for the man in our Bible lesson this week.  His whole life he depended on someone else for his needs.  Now, he knows Jesus and what he can do for him.  He has friends who take him to Jesus.  He is so excited that Jesus will help him, and then Jesus tells him his sins are forgiven.  Do you think the man was disappointed? Confused? Expecting something else?  The Pharisees(black robes) were beyond angry that Jesus would tell the man that his sins were forgiven.  That was something only God could do, and they didn't believe that Jesus was God.  This paralyzed man believed!  Jesus then tells the man, "Your faith has healed you.  Take your mat and go home!"  The man was healed in his body which is what he was hoping for, and he was healed in his soul which he was not expecting.  Jesus healed his soul first to show the order of importance.  Our forever is much more important than our right now.  Jesus forgives our sins too!  We can rejoice that our souls are his!
  • February 17, a Monday, we have the great joy of singing for the church service at the St. Joe's residence! Each class takes a turn visiting the residence, and February is our month! On Monday, February 17, we will visit and sing for the 10:30 am service. After we sing, we will return to school for regular dismissal time. This is happening only Monday morning, but all of our students are invited to join us for this special event. Please RSVP to me if you will be attending and are not from the Monday morning class so that I can plan accordingly.
In order to make this happen, we need drivers! Please consider driving for this awesome event. RSVP to me if you are able to drive with how many students you can accommodate. We also can verify that all your paperwork is current as well. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience...just don't want to forget!  We (his littlest lambs) look forward to this opportunity to praise our Lord with the residents at St. Joe's (his most experienced lambs)! Thank you in advance for considering to help us!
  • Spirit week is the week of 2/17-21/2025!  This is a fun week of dressing up, playing fun games, and having a pep rally, all to support our A-team basketball teams!  This week we also have a coin war raising money for our mission offering.  Each classroom is working to raise the most money, dress up the most, and receive the most points to be Spirit Champs!  3K & 4K have won the trophy in the past, so let's work to get it back in our room!  Time to bring in those coins! Talk to the grandparents...they always seem eager to help with coins!  Then dress up for Spirit Week!  We get points for participation as well!
