  • This week we learned the Bible lesson, "Jesus Blesses the Children."  We learned that the disciples tried to turn away small children and their families and this angered our Savior.  He said, "Let the children come to me."  Jesus showed his disciples that even the smallest children were important to him.  We want you to know that he says that to you too!  Bring your children to Jesus at church, school, JAM, and devotions at home.  Jesus wants them around even when they are wiggly, talkative, and squirmy!  Especially then!  Children are models of faith that Jesus sets up for grown-ups, faith like a child!  Keep bringing them to Jesus!
  • Sign up! Sign up! Sign up! We have an opportunity to serve!  We are serving a Lenten Supper to serve our church family during the Lent season.  Our church family does so much for us from providing supplies and volunteering in our room, to praying for us.  This is a way that we might give back!  This opportunity is April 2 from mid-afternoon until mid-evening or whatever your availability allows.  We need food donations, monetary donations, and volunteers to serve, clean up, and greet!   • We began the 4th quarter this week.  Every 4th quarter, we begin learning the Lord's Prayer.  We pray this every day at the end of the day.  The children are picking it up quickly.  Add this into your prayer routine at home and help them to pray with our church family when we are in church!
  • We focused on the letter Xx this week.  We say x-rays and x marks the spot.  Their treasure maps were very interesting!
  • Encouraging family devotions as an important part of your day is close to my heart.  Here is a tool that makes devotions something your family can do...now just carve out 5 minutes a day to get close to Jesus!  WELS Family Devotions
