Anticipating Worship: All Saints' Day, November 2, 2025—Sainthood / Stamina

Image
God calls every believer a "saint"—holy in His sight because of Christ. Yet life as a saint isn't easy; we still wrestle with trials, temptations, and a world opposed to Christ. The promise of eternal life, already enjoyed by the saints in heaven, gives us courage to keep going. Knowing that our struggles will end in glory gives us strength to endure with faith and hope. Thank you, Grandparents!

Image
We were absolutely delighted to host our students' grandparents and special adults for our annual Grandparent Day last Friday. The day was a beautiful reminder of the incredible connections that shape our children's lives. It's always a joy to gather the influential people in our students' lives and thank them for the role they play in bringing them Jesus. The morning was packed with special moments, beginning with a meaningful Chapel Service in the church sanctuary, uniting generations in worship. Afterward, the campus was buzzing with activity as our guests moved through the different areas. There were heartwarming moments shared as they visited classrooms to see their students' work, enjoyed the lively atmosphere of recess and snacks, and browsed the Book Fair together. The morning culminated in a joyful Special Program, where our students offered a heartfelt display of thanks to their guests through songs and presentations. It was a wonderful time of honoring th...

Building Stronger Bonds with Chapel Family Pumpkin Painting

Image
Our students enjoyed a creative activity for their October Chapel Family gathering: Pumpkin Painting! These special Chapel Family groups are a core part of our school community. Once a month, K-8 students gather, led by a teacher or staff member, to engage in activities designed to help them get to know peers across different grades and foster a strong sense of school-wide connectedness. Students enjoyed painting various designs on the pumpkins. It was wonderful to see all the unique and colorful results displayed, a fun reminder of their collaborative spirit and the benefits of fellowship. This community spirit reflects the wisdom found in Scripture: "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their hard work. If one of them falls, his companion can lift him up... A rope with three strands is not quickly snapped." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10a, 12b, EHV)

Come and Join us!  Everyone is welcome! "Your will be done."  This was our passage this week.  The children learned it very quickly!  The words are easy to remember.  What the words mean...so much harder to put into practice!  Moses grew up, became a shepherd, and had his plan.  The Lord spoke directly to Moses from a burning bush to give Moses His plan for him.  Even with the Lord right there before him, Moses whined and looked for excuses to get out of God's ...

Anticipating Worship: Reformation Day, October 26, 2025—Truth / Freedom

Image
The world often defines freedom as doing whatever we please, but Jesus teaches that real freedom comes only from the truth of God's Word. His truth sets us free from guilt, fear, and lies that enslave us. This was the heart of the Reformation: holding to Scripture alone, where God's life-giving truth is found. Today, we rejoice that His truth still brings true freedom. Want to hear more? See you this weekend: Saturday at 5:15 p.m. • Sunday at 8 a.m. • Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

He treated God's people very badly and enslaved them. He went so far as killing the baby boys. In God's plan, one mother saved her baby by making a basket and having the princess find him. This baby was Moses. God...

Anticipating Worship: Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost, October 19, 2025—Christ Through Us

Image
The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2025 with the theme, "Christ Through Us." This anniversary is a great opportunity to see how Christ has worked through his people to spread his good news. From a single seminary and mission in the 1800s, the church has grown to over 1,200 congregations and missions in 45 countries. This growth is a testament to how Christ has used his church to proclaim his love, a mission that will continue in the years to come. Want to hear more? See you this weekend: Saturday at 5:15 p.m. • Sunday at 8 a.m. • Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
