- This week we began learning about Moses. We learned about a Pharaoh who didn't want God's people to over power the Egyptians. He treated God's people very badly and enslaved them. He went so far as killing the baby boys. In God's plan, one mother saved her baby by making a basket and having the princess find him. This baby was Moses. God kept Moses' time in His hands. God had a big job for Moses when he grew up. We worked hard on the Bible passage, "My times are in your hands." Psalm 31:15. Remember, the Lord is with all of us too. Pray to Him often. He is always there for us!
- We are so excited to have our students invite their grandparents or other special people in their lives to come and share a morning at Emanuel with us! The hard copy invitations came home. Here are digital copies to send! Grandparents' Day Invitations On Friday(yes Friday!! A special extra day!), October 24, students are encouraged to bring their grandparents to school with them for the morning. Remember, this is a half day(7:40-11:30 am). If students' grandparents are unable to attend, please feel free to invite other special people in their lives to attend. We are thrilled at the opportunity to share the love of Jesus that fills Emanuel every day with grandparents and special guests!
- We learned this week in storytime how to pick a main idea. We read books about fire safety and picked one word to write on our board that fit the book, the main idea. We had firefighter, fire, and hoses!
- Thank you to all of our chaperones that made our Police and Fire Station Field Trip possible! We had an amazing day learning about God's amazing world and the people He gives us to keep us safe! Here is a Google Photo album to add your pictures to share with everyone! 3K/4K Police/Fire Field Trip Album
For our 3K and 4K students who also utilize Tiger Cub Care, hot lunch is an option. The lunch menu is here!
