The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2025 with the theme, "Christ Through Us." This anniversary is a great opportunity to see how Christ has worked through his people to spread his good news. From a single seminary and mission in the 1800s, the church has grown to over 1,200 congregations and missions in 45 countries. This growth is a testament to how Christ has used his church to proclaim his love, a mission that will continue in the years to come.
