Jesus has now turned 12.  This was a large milestone for him.  He could now travel to the temple for the first time.  He journeyed with his family to the house of his father - God.  It was such a special place to him that he stayed behind to learn and share even more.  When Mary and Joseph finally found Jesus in the Temple after looking for him for 3 days, Jesus reminded them of his true father.  He was an obedient and perfect son so he proceeded home when asked.  What a great reminder that we too want to be in our father's house, church!  Come and join us!
