  • This week we studied more about Moses and God's great plan for him.  Even though Moses was a sinner - he murdered an Egyptian and complained to God - God still wanted Moses to do His work!  Moses did complain..."But, but, but God!"  God answered all of His complaints and promised to be with him in his difficult job.  We complain too, but God is with us.  He will never leave us.  Even when things are not going the way we think they should be, God is there guiding us every step of the way.  Encourage the children to sing, "My God is so Great!"  Our God is great and with us always!
  • We learned about sunflowers this week!  We watched how it grew.  Click in to see the Dobberstein growth of a Sunflower.  We dissected the sunflower in the sensory table.  We even broke open the seeds!
  • Our Pizza Fundraiser is a smashing hit!  We have over 5000 pizza orders!  This is an amazing opportunity to raise funds for playground improvements.  Please if you are willing and able to volunteer for the pizza making on Saturday, November 6, please email Mrs. Eidenberger(school@emanuelnl.org) in the office to be added to the list!  There will be much work to do, but it is oh so fun!
  • Grandparent's Day was such a blessing!  We had several hundred grandparents join us throughout the school.  Our 3P and 4K classrooms were so full, we didn't have much room to move around!  It was amazing!  Thank you to everyone who helped invite the grandparents and to those who volunteered to help!
  • Mark your calendars-Christmas Service Practice is on December 3, Friday, from 2:00-3:00pm.  It is important that all children are in attendance for practice.  Our Christmas service is on December 5, Sunday, at 9:30am in church.  We pray that all the students will be able to proclaim the birth of their Savior, and many family and friends will attend to be witnesses of their proclamation!
Don't forget to watch the weather!  It is changing and gets quite chilly for recess.  Please be sure to send appropriate winter clothes for your child to stay warm while we go outside.  This is different for everyone, and you know your child best!  We are excited to see how God is changing out world all around us!

Another month is in the books, hard to believe!  Here is October in pictures!
