  • To end up Spirit week, TODAY, we get to have a competition of our own! Track 'n' Field Night is our special night where all our current and incoming families are invited for supper.  We have sub sandwiches, chips, and water.  Families are welcome to bring a dessert or veggie.  Then we have stations in the gym that families can participate together.  After that we have a "competition" for the students and the families get to watch from the bleachers.  Doors open at 5:30 and all things should be wrapped up by 7:00.   Please RSVP either way.  It helps me prepare the food.  We hope that you all can make it!
  • This week we learned about Jesus feeding the more than 5,000 people.  It was amazing to see how Jesus used 5 small loaves of bread and 2 small fish to teach His disciples and the people to trust Him.  We need to remember to go to Jesus when we need help.  He is always there - He may not always have the same answer as we WANT, but He is always there for us.  I encourage you to read through the lesson with your child.  Ask some questions and have him/her tell you the lesson!
  • Spirit week is coming to a close!  It was so much fun!  Thank you to everyone who participated and brought coins for the coin war.  Emanuel is doing an amazing job raising money to help more people learn about Jesus!  There is one more day!
    • Friday - Black and Gold Day - Pep Rally at 2:00p! EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to come! Parents can come and stay too!
  • This week we read stories that rhymed.  It is so fun to read stories that rhyme, but then these were very silly!  We read the "Wonky Donkey" stories.  If you like silly humor and rhyming, these are for you!
  • Encouraging family devotions as an important part of your day is close to my heart.  Here is a tool that makes devotions something your family can do...now just carve out 5 minutes a day to get close to Jesus!  WELS Family Devotions
