As another church year ends, we remember that the story is not yet finished—Christ will return. We don't know when, but Scripture keeps us ready and watchful. God's Word is filled with promises already fulfilled in Christ and promises still to come. As we cling to His Word, the Spirit fills us with eager anticipation for the day when faith will become sight.
