  • God took all of the bad things in Joseph's life and used them for the good of Joseph and the good of all the people.  Through Joseph being sold into slavery in Egypt, God saved thousands from famine.  Joseph was given the opportunity to shine for his amazing God to the Egyptians.  The Lord worked through the results of sin to create glorious results.  We can watch our lives and see how God's hand is with us.  How he takes a situation we can't figure out and shows us how He can make it work out.  May we trust in the Lord just as Joseph did!
  • We are so excited to have our students invite their grandparents or other special people in their lives to come and share a morning at Emanuel with us!  The hard copy invitations came home this week.  Here are digital copies to send! Grandparents' Day Invitations  On Friday(yes Friday!! A special extra day!), October 24, students are encouraged to bring their grandparents to school with them for the morning.  Remember, this is a half day(7:40-11:30 am).  If students' grandparents are unable to attend, please feel free to invite other special people in their lives to attend.  We are thrilled at the opportunity to share the love of Jesus that fills Emanuel every day with grandparents and special guests!
  • In movement time, we began learning some new skills in phy ed!  At the beginning of the year, we focus on all the different motions are body makes.  This week we worked on controlled walking and running within our "neighborhoods."
  • Thank you to all of our chaperones that made our Police and Fire Station Field Trip possible!  We had an amazing day learning about God's amazing world and the people He gives us to keep us safe!
