Rite of Confirmation 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Rite of Confirmation for 24 young men and women will be held on Sunday, May 4th, during our regular Sunday worship services. These confirmands will publicly profess their faith in Jesus Christ and commit to lifelong faithfulness.

Due to the ongoing installation of our new pipe organ, the balcony will remain closed. To accommodate this, the confirmands will be divided between our two Sunday services:

  • 8:00 AM Service: Confirmation of our PSI students.
  • 10:30 AM Service: Confirmation of our ELS students.

The public examination of both groups of confirmands will take place between the services, beginning around 9:15 AM in the church sanctuary.

To help manage the expected high attendance on Sunday morning, we encourage those who are not immediate family members of the confirmands to consider attending our Saturday evening service at 5:15 PM in the sanctuary. This would greatly assist in ensuring sufficient seating for the families of those being confirmed.

Details Regarding the Examination:

  • Location: The public examination will be held in the church sanctuary.
  • Timing: The examination will begin around 9:15 AM.
  • Transition: We kindly request that all attendees of the 8:00 AM service exit the sanctuary immediately following the service to prepare for the examination.
  • Seating for Confirmation Families: We respectfully ask each confirmation family to limit the number of immediate family members attending the examination in the church sanctuary to approximately 8-10 people.
  • Photography: We kindly request that no flash photography be used during the services or the examination.
  • Overflow Viewing: For those unable to be seated in the sanctuary, the examination will be live-streamed in the Gathering Area and Fellowship Hall.
