- We were reminded all week to cast our cares on Jesus. The lesson we learned was Jesus calming the storm. The disciples did ultimately call on Jesus but look closely. They used their fishing skills first. They talked to one another first. When they had nowhere else to turn and in desperation, they called to Jesus. Let this be a lesson to us, Jesus is our first call! We pray that He helps us give Him everything first, not as the last result! Check out the video of our lesson this week!
- Emanuel has the great privilege to host this year’s Northern Wisconsin Teachers’ Conference! When we welcome over 350 teachers onto our campus, we would love to show off our wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. We invite our school families to volunteer to greet these teachers when they arrive. Families (older students individually with parent approval and drop off/pick up ability) would open doors, give welcoming messages, and offer assistance and directions for the guests unfamiliar with our campus. If you are interested in volunteering Thursday (2/13) and/or Friday (2/14) from 8:00-9:00 am, please contact Mrs. D (Fast direct or 920-407-3000 text/call). What an enjoyable way to shine Jesus’ love to others!
- We will have our Valentine's Days February 10 and 11(Monday and Tuesday). On those days we will share the love of Jesus with our friends in many ways. We will exchange Valentine's. If you choose to send Valentine's(not required), please leave the TO: section blank. The From: section can have your child's name. This helps a great deal when handing out the Valentine's since our little one's don't read yet! Because some of our students come once and some come twice, the number of Valentine's vary from class to class. Here is number of valentines each class should bring:
3K AM (Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday) - 17
4K AM - 23
4K PM & 3K (Tuesday/Thursday) - 21
3K PM (Monday/Wednesday) - 15
We also have the opportunity to share a treat if you like. Sweet and healthy treats are welcome! Please send just the 6-10 servings. That worked so well at Christmas time! We will share Jesus' love in other ways through-out our days here at school as well!!
- February 17, a Monday, we have the great joy of singing for the church service at the St. Joe's residence! Each class takes a turn visiting the residence, and February is our month! On Monday, February 17, we will visit and sing for the 10:30 am service. After we sing, we will return to school for regular dismissal time. This is happening only Monday morning, but all of our students are invited to join us for this special event. Please RSVP to me if you will be attending and are not from the Monday morning class so that I can plan accordingly.
In order to make this happen, we need drivers! Please consider driving for this awesome event. RSVP to me if you are able to drive with how many students you can accommodate. We also can verify that all your paperwork is current as well. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience...just don't want to forget! We (his littlest lambs) look forward to this opportunity to praise our Lord with the residents at St. Joe's (his most experienced lambs)! Thank you in advance for considering to help us!
- Spirit week is the week of 2/17-21/2025! This is a fun week of dressing up, playing fun games, and having a pep rally, all to support our A-team basketball teams! This week we also have a coin war raising money for our mission offering. Each classroom is working to raise the most money, dress up the most, and receive the most points to be Spirit Champs! 3K & 4K have won the trophy in the past, so let's work to get it back in our room! Time to bring in those coins! Talk to the grandparents...they always seem eager to help with coins! Then dress up for Spirit Week! We get points for participation as well!
