  • "You surely are the Lord!" Peter exclaimed. Jesus demonstrated His power to His disciples yet again. The disciples were out on the water fighting against the wind. Jesus had been praying and rejuvenating alone. He saw their struggle and came to them...WALKING ON THE WATER! They were terrified first. Then Peter asked to walk to Jesus, and did. Then the fear overtook him, and he began to sink. Jesus pulled him up and back to the boat. Then Peter exclaimed his faith, "Surely you are the Lord!" The Lord was training the disciples to call upon him in trouble.  We, too, are being trained to call upon Jesus! In all our troubles, remember the Lord is there to care for us!
  • Sign up! Sign up! Sign up! We have an opportunity to serve!  We are serving a Lenten Supper to serve our church family during the Lent season.  Our church family does so much for us from providing supplies and volunteering in our room, to praying for us.  This is a way that we might give back!  This opportunity is April 2 from mid-afternoon until mid-evening or whatever your availability allows.  We need food donations, monetary donations, and volunteers to serve, clean up, and greet! Click on the sign-up to read more and sign up to volunteer! Lenten Supper Sign-Up
  • This week we read stories that helped us think about other people's situations, how they think, their culture, and their experiences.  This month we are focusing on social awareness and how other people feel.
  • Encouraging family devotions as an important part of your day is close to my heart.  Here is a tool that makes devotions something your family can do...now just carve out 5 minutes a day to get close to Jesus!  WELS Family Devotions
