  • Jesus was born in a manger. The angels announced his coming and his arrival!  The shepherds heard the good news first.  All of this is an amazing miracle to be thankful for.  Then we break it down even further and think he was born in a barn! Some people don't even want to walk in a barn!  Jesus gave up his perfect, amazing place in heaven to come to earth for us.  He came to buy us back so we can be with him forever.  This Christmas, keep your eyes on the true meaning of Christmas.  See Jesus in all of our celebrations and traditions.  He is the Reason for the Season!
  • Encouraging family devotions as an important part of your day is close to my heart.  Here is a tool that makes devotions something your family can do...now just carve out 5 minutes a day to get close to Jesus!  WELS Family Devotions
  • To prepare for our Christmas service, we are asking for one outside of class practice.  It is very important for the children to see what the whole service might look like before we do it!  Friday, December 13, is our only chance to have everyone together.  Please make every effort to have your child attend this practice from 2:00-3:00pm.  We will meet in the church at 2:00pm! Grown ups are welcome to stay and watch or leave and come back!
  • 3K/4K Christmas Service is almost here! Please do all you can to have your child to the church basement by 8:45 am on December 15th with the service beginning at 9:30 am. We look forward to celebrating with everyone in the new worship space!
  • We will be sharing our Christmas cheer with our community the last week of school.  We will be in need of drivers Monday, December 16, and Tuesday, December 17, for both classes.  Please consider if you would be able to shine for Jesus by driving us to some of our caroling stops!  If you are interested, please reply or stop and talk as soon as possible for planning purposes!
  • Christmas celebrations! You are invited to bring a snack for our Christmas Celebrations. Healthy options are encouraged! Cheese, sausage, fruit, veggies, and crackers are all great choices. We love the treats too! Remember, many friends may be bringing something so small portions are good. Servings of 6-10 are plenty! We learn on these days how to make good choices!
  • WAY TO GO 3K/4K FAMILIES!! We have reached goal for Christmas Collection for calendars! Thank you to everyone who do ated calendars!! If you haven't donated and want to, we are pivoting to men's warm socks with grippers! Please bring them in by Wednesday, December 11!
