  • We continue to follow Jesus' work of salvation.  This week we learn how Jesus was put on the cross, his suffering, and then death.  We are reflecting on how OUR sins put him there.  He felt our sicknesses and pain.  Jesus took that all on himself.  The children had some realization moments with this.  I even heard, "You never told us that before!"  I am so thankful they are hearing it now!  When we reflect that our sins are the reason Jesus went to the cross, it becomes much more personal.  Jesus did this for me, for you!  Rejoice in Jesus and all he has done for us!
  • We continued our author study of Eric Carle.  We read "Pancakes, Pancakes" and "Rooster's Off to See the World!"  We also learned that Mr. Carle loved teaching lessons to his readers.  In "Pancakes, Pancakes", we learned that getting our food is a lot of work for us or others.  In "Rooster's Off to See the World" we learned adding and subtracting!

  • We gained access to an incubator this week!  We are so excited to observe the eggs and watch for God's gift of life!  Over the next few weeks, your children will learn about candling, hatching, and patience!!
  • We're overjoyed to share that Jada Brauer, a 4K student in our class, has received a life-saving liver transplant and is now recovering at home. While she's making good progress, Jada remains critically immunocompromised and will need to travel to Milwaukee for appointments a few times each week. To support her family during this challenging time, we're collecting gas gift cards to help ease the financial strain of frequent trips to the hospital. If you'd like to contribute, please drop off gift cards or financial donations at the office. Please continue to pray for strength and healing for Jada.
