  • Jesus showed us his power again this week.  He came along the road to find 10 men with leprosy.  This terrible disease had sentenced these men to a life of solitude.  When Jesus walked close enough to hear them, they called with all their faith!  They called for Jesus to heal them.  He sent them to the priest who could determine if they could rejoin society.  The men were so excited they took off and were healed on the way!  One man turned around and came back to thank Jesus.  Jesus was glad he remembered but saddened the others forgot.  May we be like the one man remembering to thank Jesus for all he has done for us and continues to do!
  • This week we focused on parts of a whole.  We learned about quarters of a school year, pieces of pizza, and parts of a shoe.  We learned how each part can be by itself, and it goes with its partners to make something bigger.  With this learning, we paired our story "The Elves and the Shoemaker."  This version is slightly different than ours in class.  See if your child can pick out some differences!
  • We are super excited to sing in church this weekend!  This message is just an extra reminder that we hope all of our students can make it to help us fill up God's house with our beautiful music!  We will sing "Give Me Oil in My Lamp".  The students have enjoyed learning this song that glorifies Jesus so well!   • On Sunday, we will meet in the Narthex by the coffee nook since the basement is under renovation!  Please arrive by 7:45 am.  We will greet and get lined up before the service.  We will sit together in the front of church for the entire service.  After church, we will meet you back in the Narthex!
  • We have a wonderful service opportunity coming up! Easter caroling is Wednesday, March 27. We are looking for drivers that would be able to help us get to the homes that are further away. We will be walking to our destinations(God willing :) ) on Tuesday, March 26. If you are available to drive and have all the paperwork filed with the office, respond to me! We are very excited to take our songs from church on Sunday and others out on the road to help others rejoice that Jesus has saved us!
  • Track 'n' Field Night is coming April 5th!  This is a wonderful night full of food, racing, jumping, and laughs!  Bring the whole family to cheer on your little one in class.  Each student will compete in our track meet.  Supper is at 5:30pm.  Parent led stations at 6:00pm.  Teacher led events at 6:30pm.  It is such a fun night....I hope you can all make it!
