  • "Jesus Loves Me, This I know!"  What an amazing children's song!  We embrace and teach this to our children, just as we worked on it in class this week.  "My God is so Great!"  Another great song and message we want our children to know!  This week we focused on these two songs in class.  Sing them with your children.  Remind them of our amazing God and His love and power.  As you do so, REMIND YOURSELF!  This time of year can be full of transitions and change.  We ourselves can forget that these messages are for grown-ups too!  Don't forget!  Jesus loves you and uses His power to save you!
  • THANK YOU!  Thank you to our parents!  Without you, we could not have had such a successful first week!  Please keep encouraging your children to do their best.  Please keep making sure they have enough rest and nourishment.  Please keep up the GREAT work!  Being parents of littles is WORK, but it is the most rewarding work you will ever do!
  • As we begin a new school year, a few reminders:
    • Please send healthy snacks and lunches.  Fruits and vegetables are great additions!
    • Encourage independence - walking on our own, carrying our own things, we are big kids!
    • Ask questions!  We are here to help.  No silly questions!
  • Helpful hint - Practical clothes!  Cute outfits and shoes are just that...ADORABLE!  However, when we are trying to do things ourselves sometimes our clothing gets in the way!  Ask yourself some questions to see if your child's clothing will help him/her be successful.
    • Can they keep the shoes on their feet?
    • Can they pull the bottoms down and up?
    • Can they operate the buttons/snaps/zippers? Do they get stuck?
    • Will his/her undergarments be covered?(Shorts under skirts/dresses are a must!)
    • Can they run, jump, or sit crisscross?
