  • Jesus has ascended into heaven and is preparing a home for you and for me!  This week we focused on Jesus' work of getting a forever home ready for us in heaven.  While we wait here on earth to get to that forever home, Jesus has given us a big, big job...we are to go and tell!  All year we have learned to go and tell, and now we see when Jesus gave that command.  We are ready to go to our friends and neighbors and teach them the great news that we are all saved.  Help your children find opportunities to share the good news of Jesus! 
  • Our field trip is Monday!  We are so excited(I don't know who is more excited, the children or the teacher!)!  A bus will pick us up for departure at 8:20/12:20 and return at 10:30/2:30.  Everyone who has volunteered to chaperone has been cleared with their background check unless you hear from me!  We look forward to hosting you all at our farm!
  • A huge thank you to Mrs. Jensen for a fantastic Try 5K!  Our 4Ks are all so excited to be at Emanuel all day every day surrounded by Jesus and learning about His world!
  • We continue our farm study in preparation for our Farm Field Trip on Monday, May 22.  We are reading farm stories.  We recognized the main characters and characters in the story.  We practiced making predictions based on the cover and title.  The children are absorbing these large literary concepts really well!

  • We have been studying feed samples from the Dobberstein farm.  The children have learned how the feed is harvested and brought to the animals.  On Monday they will get to see how that all works in person!
