5/22/2023 - Farm Field Trip (both morning and afternoon)
  • We continue to follow Jesus' work of salvation.  This week we learn how Jesus was put on the cross, his suffering, and then death.  We are reflecting on how OUR sins put him there.  He felt our sicknesses and pain.  Jesus took that all on himself.  The children had some realization moments with this.  I even heard, "You never told us that before!"  I am so thankful they are hearing it now!  When we reflect that our sins are the reason Jesus went to the cross, it becomes much more personal.  Jesus did this for me, for you!  Rejoice in Jesus and all he has done for us!
  • We have been creating new art for the Fine Arts Fair!  Our creative minds have been making our own versions of 3D caterpillars.  Our long-awaited snowmen will also be on display Friday night!
  • The Fine Arts Fair is a new event for Emanuel! This is a time to showcase all of our students' various gifts from the Lord in the area of art! Your children will have art on display and perform a musical skill. The event begins at 5:30 pm to view the art, listen to the musical presentations and forensics, and make art at the stations! This is a very interactive time for a fun exploration of different art-making processes and musical exploration!  There will also be snacks available at no cost. Then, plan to have your student by our coat hooks no later than 6:15pm. We will perform at 6:30pm. Click here for the poster to share!
  • I am so excited about our Fine Arts Fair and pray that you all may enjoy the evening!  Sadly, I have a family conflict(our senior and sophomore sons are participating in a large track meet).  I will be unable to attend Friday night.  Miss Duciaume, Miss April, and Miss Ashley will be running our part of the show!  They would greatly appreciate all of you being there to perform!  I can't wait to see a recording of the night!
