  • "King Herod was SO MEAN!" That was a comment heard during Jesus Time this week. The children were really broken hearted over Herod's action-killing babies. They couldn't understand why He would do that, and praise the Lord they felt that way! God kept Jesus safe from this awful legislation by another announcement from the angel. Mary and Joseph took Jesus to safety in Egypt. God had a plan, and he protected it. God loved us so much that he sent his son, kept him safe, and then had Him carry out our salvation! Praise the Lord for His LOVE!
  • Today, Today, Today!! 1/13/2023, 6:15ish. We look forward to our opportunity to lead the crowd of the Emanuel Tigers basketball game in the Pledge of Allegiance! Tonight is a fun night to get out and see what it is like to be a "big kid" at Emanuel. One of the many opportunities our students have is to play basketball and be a cheerleader. Plan to come, experience some good basketball(at this writing our boys A team is 5-0!!), have your child center court for the performance of the Pledge, and enjoy a night out at Emanuel! The Girls B (5th & 6th graders) will begin at 4:15p, Boys B (5th & 6th graders) about 5:15p, Girls A (7th & 8th graders) about 6:15p, and Boys A (7th & 8th graders) about 7:15p. All times after the start of the first game are approximate due to the nature of the run times of games! Hope you all can make it out!
  • We began our snowman project this week. We were heavy in planning,  decision making, and making choices. This snowman will 3D, unique, and a fun creation!
  • The second quarter has ended. Watch for the progression reports to become available late on Monday.  Mr. Fuerstenau will send a message when you can view the report.
  • Please send warm snow clothes EVERY DAY!!  Even when there isn't snow, we use them to stay warm!
