  • This week we learned about David and Goliath. Goliath was a real giant-over 9 feet tall! He came to fight God's people. They were all afraid. While Goliath waited for a battle, he mocked God and His people. David was just a young man and not even part of the army, but he was not afraid. He knew God would be with him. He went to fight with a slingshot and a few stones.  His God did not fail him. David was victorious with God's help! God is with us as we fight our giants. Trust in Him. Stay in His word. He will be with you always!
  • Here comes winter in Wisconsin!  Please remember, we will go outside as much as possible so send along the outdoor clothes your child needs to stay warm and dry.  It does differ from student to student for students to stay warm so please know your child.  Once it snows(even a little), please send boots, snow pants, mittens, hats, and warm coats.  Warm is the key word because we can spend up to 30 minutes outside! Thin cotton mittens or water boots often are not warm enough.  Parents have found that a dedicated bag for snow clothes is very helpful to keep their boots and other wet items away from folders and snacks.  A clothe grocery type bag seems to be a perfect size! Please bring the warm clothes EVERY DAY!!
  • We focused on giving thanks in story time. We listened to books that remind us of the great blessings God has given us!
  • While outside this week, we worked to be kind to our friends, wait patiently in line for the slide, and try new pieces of equipment.
  • Christmas service practice is December 9, a Friday, at 2:00p. I know this isn't a normal day of school, but I pray that you all can make arrangements to make it. This practice is vital for the students to practice all together. It is the ONLY time they will get to see the whole thing. Please plan to have your child attend. Caregivers are welcome to stay or leave. We will be done by 3:00p in the commons.
  •  3P & 4K 2022-23  scroll to the bottom for the most recent pictures! This demonstrates the things your children are learning. This week we worked on drumming to the beat, singing responses, trying new things, waiting for a friend, matching colors, writing our name, memorization, manipulating snow clothes, following directions to obtain a goal, and manipulating small objects.
