  • "I delight in your commands." Psalm 119:47  God's 10 commandments show us what God would like us to do.  God's 10 commandments show us how often we do not do what God would like us to do.  We have heavy sad hearts when we are reminded of our sins.  This week, we learned how God gave those commandments through Moses on stone tablets.  We also were reminded that these commandments show us the love of Jesus!  He came to take away all of those sins of which we are reminded.  He loves us so much that He did everything we are not able to do so that we might have heaven when we die!  Praise the Lord for the gift of Jesus, His love and salvation!
  • Here comes winter in Wisconsin!  Please remember, we will go outside as much as possible so send along the outdoor clothes your child needs to stay warm and dry.  It does differ from student to student for students to stay warm so please know your child.  Once it snows(even a little), please send boots, snow pants, mittens, hats, and warm coats.  Parents have found that a dedicated bag for snow clothes is very helpful to keep their boots and other wet items away from folders and snacks.  A clothe grocery type bag seems to be a perfect size!
  • This week in storytime we learned about shoes!  We listened to "The Elves and the Shoemaker" in several versions.  We studied our shoes to find the sole, the heel, and the stitches.  We also listened to Pete the Cat!
  • As we move into November, remember INDEPENDENCE!  Work with your child to achieve.  Whether it be carrying their own backpack, taking off or hanging up their own coat, walking to class,  or being responsible to pack their snack, begin to give them more responsibility.  This will give them more confidence and foster a sense of self.
  •  3P & 4K 2022-23  scroll to the bottom for the most recent pictures! This demonstrates the things your children are learning. This week we worked on matching pitch(high and low sounds), independent singing, identifying same and different, following directions to obtain a goal, and manipulating small objects.
