  • Joseph had many bad things happen to him.  His brothers hated the favoritism Joseph received from their father.  They plotted against him, tried to murder him, and then sold him into slavery in Egypt.  That sounds HORRIBLE!!  Through it all, Joseph never doubted that God was with him.  He trusted God and His plan.  We, too, should trust the Lord in good times and hard times.  He knows what is best for us and how to work all things to our blessing.  Talk to God often.  Share your joys and your sorrows.  Seek Him to guide all your ways!
  • Here are our pictures from our Police & Fire Field Trip!  Please add any of the pictures you have for all to see!  Police & Fire 2022  Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and help!  This is an amazing opportunity for learning.  We also thank all of the police officers and firefighters for our special day!
  • We are so excited to sing in church one week from Sunday(October 16)!  We are learning "Standing in the Need of Prayer!"  On the day we sing, please bring your child to the church basement by 7:45am for warm-up.  You can then sit in the church for worship.  We will sit as a class for the 8:00am service.  After the service, we will walk the children down to Sunday School which is between services.  At the end of Sunday School, we(the teachers) will pick up the children from Sunday School in order to quickly warm up for the next service.  We will sing at the beginning of the 10:30am service for the second time, walk to the commons, and meet up with you!  Singing in church is an expectation of school.  We pray that you all will be able to join us!  If there should be an unavoidable circumstance, please let me know that your child will be unable to attend.  We look forward to praising Jesus in church!
  • We are so excited to have our students invite their grandparents or other special people in their lives to come and share a morning at Emanuel with us!  On Friday(yes Friday!!  A special extra day!), October 21, students are encouraged to bring their grandparents to school with them for the morning.  Remember, this is a half day(7:40-11:30 am).  If students' grandparents are unable to attend, please feel free to invite other special people in their lives to attend.  If a student does not have grandparents to attend, a GUEST GRANDPARENT can be requested.  A GUEST GRANDPARENT(new this year) is a member of our church family that volunteers to be a grandparent for a day with your child(ren).  In order to best serve our extended family and special guests, we are asking that you would RSVP.  This is especially important for those who might not have grandparents or special guests to invite.  In order to match up a special guest from our church family to your child(ren), we will need time to organize!   We are thrilled at the opportunity to share the love of Jesus that fills Emanuel every day with grandparents and special guests! Click here for the Grandparent's Day RSVP   Polka Dot Invitation   Coloring Invitation
