  • "Your will be done."  This was our passage this week.  The children learned it very quickly!  The words are easy to remember.  What the words mean...so much harder to put into practice!  Moses grew up, became a shepherd, and had his plan.  The Lord spoke directly to Moses from a burning bush to give Moses His plan for him.  Even with the Lord right there before him, Moses whined and looked for excuses to get out of God's plan-going to Pharoah to set God's people free. Multiple times, Moses said, "But, but, but...." ending with a straightforward, "I don't want to."  The Lord, in righteous anger, let Moses know that this was unacceptable, and Moses was going!  We struggle to pray, "Your will be done."  We complain weakly or even defiantly walk in the other direction.  The Lord's will for Moses was better than Moses' plan.  God's plan for us is far better than anything we could ever plan.  Pray, "Your will be done." when making plans.  Trust He has a great plan for you!
  • The Progression Party invitations came home on bright pink paper! This is in place of first-quarter parent-teacher conferences so attendance is strongly encouraged.  Everyone, whole families, is invited to come for a chili supper provided, information on our Progression reports, and time for questions and viewing the classroom. Childcare is provided during the informational meeting portion of the night. Please RSVP via Text or email so that I do not forget! When talking to me, I have the opportunity to forget to write it down! If you are unable to attend, all information will come home with your child the next day of class. If there are questions, we can schedule a parent-teacher conference. Please reach out if you have any questions!
  • With the end of the first quarter, please check your child's folder.  Take out all the papers except the church attendance form.  Make sure the church attendance form is current.  This is a means of encouragement.  It encourages your teachers to see that you are worshipping.  We are also equipped to encourage you with that information.  I will share my family's attendance with you all as encouragement that we are all worshipping together even though we may not attend the same services!  The Dobbersteins worshipped 8 of the 9 weeks of this quarter.  May we all be encouraged to worship our Lord within our homes and together in church!
  • Watch for the cubbies to move in the hallway!
  • Quarter 1 pictures! 3P & 4K 2022-23  scroll to the bottom! This demonstrates the things your children are learning. This week we worked on matching pictures and colors, sorting, planning, recalling, singing, self-care (jackets, shoes) following single and multi-step directions, counting, and attention span.
  •  Milk is now available to our 3P and 4K students at snack.  Milk Confirmation Form. We would like all families to please fill out this form.
