  • Jesus ASCENDED into heaven!  We learned that ascend means to go up.  Jesus rose into the sky, was hidden by a cloud, and used His almighty power to go to Heaven!  We are reassured that Jesus is making a home for us there.  While we wait, we are commanded to go and tell the good news!  Get out there!  Tell your family, friends, or maybe that neighbor you have been nervous to talk to all about Jesus and His love for us.  Tell that we are forgiven and promised Heaven.  Tell that all is done for us!  You may be the only person that will share that good news!  Be courageous!
  • Our eggs continue to gain our attention and love!  The chicks began to arrive.  One was brave enough to arrive while the students were here!  We have added five more today.  Take a look!
  • We learned about equipment this week.  We focused on the tractor, skid steer, planter, manure spreader, and combine.  We will be able to investigate some of these more closely on Monday!
  • "Called Worker Farewell" Join us on Sunday, May 22, at the 10:30 AM service, as we give thanks to God for the called workers who will be leaving their roles at Emanuel at the end of this school year. The school children are invited to sing a song in the service and we will enjoy a reception in the church narthex immediately following the service. Boxes will be available for cards and gifts. We hope many join us to wish farewell to these servants of the church:
    • Cris Ladwig - Retiring after 40 years
    • Lynn Schmidt - Accepted a divine call to teach at Trinity Lutheran School, Minocqua WI
    • Sarah Jandron - Accepted a divine call to teach at Immanuel Lutheran School, Greenville, WI
    • Crystal Kesting - Accepted a divine call to teach at Neenah Lutheran School, Neenah, WI
  • Our Field Trip is MONDAY!  Everyone who signed up to drive is driving!  It worked out just perfectly to fit everyone we have coming!  Please plan accordingly for clothing according to the weather and being on a farm!  We will try to have everything as clean as possible, but all this rain is making it a bigger challenge this year!  We will leave shortly after your child's class begins so please be prompt!  Please reach out if you have any questions!
  • Try 5K! was a great success!  The children all were able to meet their future teacher and are really excited for their next step!
  • Emanuel is looking for an educational aide in a part-time capacity for our Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP) Guided Studies for the 2022/2023 school year. This position will start at 15 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with a possibility of increasing hours if there is a need. Starting pay will be based on experience and educational background. If you are interested, please contact the SNSP coordinator, Mrs. Abby Zuberbier, for an application (azuberbier@emanuelnl.org). The application period will close on 6/19/22.

Invite Everyone to Join us at Emanuel!  We still have spots available for our 3P and 4K for next year!  Help us fill them up so we can learn about Jesus with as many as possible!!
