- "My Lord! My God!" Thomas speaks his faith in these words. Thomas demonstrates that when he saw Jesus, he believed Jesus had risen from the dead. Jesus tells us we are blessed because we have faith and have never seen Him. What a great blessing to believe! We spoke often about believing without seeing. The children grasped this quite easily...often this is much more difficult for us grown ups! Staying in our Bibles, at church and surrounding ourselves with other Christians strengthens us when we may have doubts like Thomas did! Stay close to Jesus!
- Storytime found us focusing on the farm. We read Big Chicken books. In these books, the four big chickens had some fears. We discussed how Mrs. D is afraid of chickens!
- Our eggs continue to gain our attention and love! We are very excited that this next week chicks should hatch, God willing! The children have been absolutely intrigued with our science focus!
- We learned about crops this week. Mr. and Mrs. D's farm grows field corn, soybeans, and wheat. We learned which ones are for people food and animal food. We learned how they are turned into food. We look forward to learning about the machines that help with that harvest next week!
- The Timber Rattler ticket vouchers have arrived! They will be sent home in your child's folder on Monday/Tuesday. If you want it on Monday and do not have class, just message me and stop in! With this packet of information, you will be able to purchase e-tickets for all who would like to go to the game!
- "Called Worker Farewell" Join us on Sunday, May 22, at the 10:30 AM service, as we give thanks to God for the called workers who will be leaving their roles at Emanuel at the end of this school year. The school children are invited to sing a song in the service and we will enjoy a reception in the church narthex immediately following the service. Boxes will be available for cards and gifts. We hope many join us to wish farewell to these servants of the church:

- Sarah Jandron - Accepted a divine call to teach at Immanuel Lutheran School, Greenville, WI
