Don't Forget a snack each day!
- We are continuing our journey with Jesus. This week we saw Jesus before Pilate. The enemies wanted Jesus to die so bad they made up lies about Jesus. They hit him, mocked him, and spit on him. The enemies persuaded Pilate to whip Him, put a crown of thorns on Him, and finally crucify Him. We left Jesus this week walking to the cross. We are so thankful Jesus went through all of these things for US! Please read through this lesson with your child. This will impress the lesson on him/her even more.
- We are at the end of the Fang reading program! Please turn in your final Fang by the end of the day on Tuesday! Please remember, if you have misplaced a Fang, just stop in or message me, and we will get it recorded!
- This week we took time in Storytime to invite our forensics students. We saw hilarious plays, heard stories, and laughed at poems!
- Crowns of thorns were our project this week. We saw a real one and created one with toothpicks. We learned how sharp the thorns would've been on Jesus' head when we were breaking
- We began saying the Lord's prayer at the end of the day. Now that it is the 4th quarter, we will say this every day. Try adding this to one of your prayer times throughout the day. You will be amazed how quickly your child picks this up just through repetition!
- We had a chapel on Wednesday with Mr. VandeGutche. He reminded us that we believe even though we don't get to see Jesus! We have the faith that was given to us. We strengthen our faith with God's Word. Stay close to God's Word so that we believe even though we can't see! We are entering the last weeks of school. This can be a time of busyness and hustle and bustle as we start our spring and summer activities. Please still take the time to spend around Jesus. Join us in worship, read the Jesus lessons, and just be amazed at His great creation!
