Chapel Offering Update

Our second quarter chapel offering project is off to a great start! So far, students have brought in $471.38. The ministry on which we are focusing is Emanuel's radio ministry. Our church broadcasts the Saturday evening service every week for those who are unable to physically attend church for a variety of reasons. With the money we have currently raised, the school will be sponsoring services broadcast on December 12 and January 9.

Call News

Here is an update on the current status of Divine Calls at Emanuel:

  • The School Board met to extend another call last night for 4th grade; the name of the chosen candidate will be released on Monday next week.
  • Mrs. Crystal Kesting has accepted the call to serve as 3P teacher at Neenah Lutheran School next year; we wish her God's blessings! Discussions are beginning regarding how to fill that position next year.
  • Mrs. Kate Tiefel has accepted our call to serve as Emanuel's full-time worship director and K-8 music director and teacher; we thank God for the opportunity to have Kate as a full-time blessing to our church and school!
  • Mr. Bill Scharf is currently holding a call to serve as Emanuel's part-time (80%) technology director and teacher.

Basketball Games Begin

Keep an eye on the calendar, as our Tiger's basketball season begins on Friday, December 3, with games against St. Peter Appleton beginning at 4:15! If you are around, come by and support our Tigers players and cheerleaders throughout the season. Game dates, locations, and times will be included in the "Upcoming Important Dates" blog post, and are also listed on the athletic calendar, found here.

Christmas Services

This Sunday, December 5, at 9:30, join the Emanuel 3P and 4K students as they tell the story of Jesus' birth! We are excited to have the smallest missionaries in our building start off our special Christmas services in the month of December. Make sure to also mark your calendars for December 12, which will include special music from the Sunday School students in the 10:30 service, and also December 21, for our K-8 Christmas services at 1:30 and 6:30. Come, Lord Jesus!
