Pizza Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who helped out during our pizza fundraiser last Saturday. It was a hectic day filled with hard work (and more than a little chaos), but also a lot of laughter and fellowship. We have a lot of fun pictures taken by Mr. Scharf that will be displayed on the Commons TV as you are dropping off and picking up students, so be sure to take a look at those. Our final results for the fundraiser were:
  • 2nd grade takes first place with 756 total pizzas sold
  • Total profit from the fundraiser to be put toward playground updates - $18,509.30!
We will be reviewing the results of the pizza fundraiser and beginning our planning for next time. If you have any suggestions for improvement, please either email or speak to Principal Fuerstenau. Also, if you did not pick up your pizza orders yet, you may do so at any time; they are in the walk-in cooler in the church basement. Ask for help from our office staff if you have questions.

Winter Sports Begin
If you have children signed up for basketball or cheerleading this winter, please refer to the schedules for those activities. The practice schedule for the week, and any games, will also be posted under our "Upcoming Important Events" blog post every Monday.

Clothing Reminder
Just another quick reminder that, although it feels like Spring outside now, the weather this week is going to change dramatically. Make sure your children have appropriate clothing, including coats, hats, and gloves/mittens, at school. If the temperature is above zero (with the wind chill factored in), we will be outside for recess. We also accept donations of gently used or new coats, hats, and gloves/mittens; just bring them to the office.
