Chapel Offering Update

Our second quarter chapel offering project is off to a great start! So far, students have brought in $383.37. The ministry on which we are focusing is Emanuel's radio ministry. Our church broadcasts the Saturday evening service every week for those who are unable to physically attend church for a variety of reasons. With the money we have currently raised, the school will be sponsoring services broadcast on December 12 and January 9.

Stack Up 2021

On Thursday, grades 4-5 participated in "Stack Up 2021," a fun activity utilizing multiple types of stacking materials. Keep an eye out for pictures from that event.

Call News

Here is an update on the current status of Divine Calls at Emanuel:

  • Ms. Meredith Moeller has returned our call to serve as 4th-grade teacher next year at Emanuel; another call meeting will take place on December 2.
  • Ms. Sarah Jandron has returned the call to serve as kindergarten teacher at St. Mark, Green Bay.
  • Mrs. Crystal Kesting is currently holding a call to serve as a 3P teacher at Neenah Lutheran School.
  • Mrs. Kate Tiefel is currently holding a call to serve as Emanuel's full-time worship director and K-8 music director and teacher.
  • Mr. Bill Scharf is currently holding a call to serve as Emanuel's part-time (80%) technology director and teacher.
Please keep all of these servants of Christ in your prayers!

School Board Meeting Moved

Due to midweek Advent worship services beginning on December 1, our monthly School Board meeting will instead take place on Thursday, December 2, at 7:00 in the TIGER (2nd floor Science) room.

Recess Reminder

The weather is turning much colder, but school-aged kids still need fresh air! Unless the temperature is below zero degrees (wind chill factored in), we will have recess outside. Students need to have appropriate clothing because they will be going out unless they have late work or a doctor's note.
