  • Jesus time had us singing, "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho!"  If you haven't heard it at home, check it out here and sing it with your little one!  We sing about Joshua fighting, but we learned that it really was God!  God gave Joshua the plan to march, and it was God's power that brought those walls crashing down.  We sing of Joshua because we pray that we have faith as strong as him.  He listened to the plan of the Lord even though by our worldly eyes it seemed strange.  The Lord used the plan to show His people that it is His power that saves them.  We remember that it is God's plan that is always better than our plan.  It is His power that guides our lives to His service!
  • Water beads in the sensory table were amazing!  The children were so excited to see them grow, feel their slimy texture, make them bounce, and finally watch them ooze apart!! This was a great sensory experience!
  • Our Christmas Service practice is in full swing.  The children are really working hard and learning so quickly.  Here are the parts for the children.  Please watch whether it is morning, afternoon or all!  Our Christmas Show and Tell
  • Now that we are in colder weather, please send a coat, hat, mittens/gloves, boots, snowpants, and any other gear needed to stay warm every day.  We might not use it all every day, but we will use some of it all the time!
  • We will celebrate Thanksgiving with a Thanksgiving Feast on November 22&23 so everyone has a chance to participate!  You are invited to bring a snack to celebrate.  Healthy options like string cheese, fresh fruit and veggies or sausage are great options.  We, of course, will enjoy any of the sweets as well!  We will help the children remember why we celebrate and how to celebrate.  We work on moderation in our choices so when choosing a snack it does not need to be enough for one for each student.  Planning for 8-10 would be more than enough!
  • Mark your calendars-Christmas Service Practice is on December 3, Friday, from 2:00-3:00pm.  It is important that all children are in attendance for practice.  Our Christmas service is on December 5, Sunday, at 9:30am in church.  We pray that all the students will be able to proclaim the birth of their Savior, and many family and friends will attend to be witnesses of their proclamation!
